The transmitter is large and heavy. My 240SX has a Ka 24de dual cam valve 16 that vibrates a lot. We mounted the sensor with the original warning sensor on the T-piece, on the brass tube to the engine block. Vibration and mass from the sensor broke the brass tube on the block. . The sensors are now mounted on the fender with a stainless steel encased oil line for shut off. The digital display is too bright at night to mount on the dash, so I installed the sensor on the console. It's legible there, but doesn't dazzle or distract. Seems accurate. When the pipe ruptured, the oil pressure gauge quickly dropped to 4psi.
