Review on 🥣 16 Ounce THERMOS Stainless King Vacuum-Insulated Food Jar with Spoon – Midnight Blue by Juan Crane

This is my favorite hot lunch container. I have purchased two of these products as well as two 24 ounce containers and one 10 ounce container. It currently keeps food warm for up to 9 hours, best with soups and other liquid dishes. My husband and I have both used these containers most weekdays for the past 3 months and have had no problems. We both live and work in the city and rely on public transport to get around leaving our bags scattered and smashed, but so far absolutely no leaks with this or the 24oz version. This is the perfect amount of food for me but too small for my husband who prefers a 24 ounce container. PROS: As advertised and keeps food hot for hours. Robust construction. Easy to clean (see cleaning tips for more information). big considering the size. The spoon is handy but harder to clean because it folds (I put it in the dishwasher). Be careful not to overtighten the lid while the food is hot, otherwise it will be difficult to open later. If you have very hot tap water, fill the container with warm water. Close the inner screw cap. Wait 10-15 minutes and use that time to reheat whatever you want to eat for lunch. Pour out the water and fill with food. Close the inner lid (be careful how tight you screw the lid on as it cools down a little and becomes difficult to open). Wait until lunch and eat hot or warm food, depending on how long it's been pictured, you'll notice there's a transparent silicone seal around the inner lid. Others have found that they cannot clean it and mold develops. I take this ring off and hand clean all the pieces separately and then let them air dry. Even with almost daily use, they still work great! Anyway, I'm considering buying a few more because I'm lazy and wouldn't mind having one to put extra cold food in.
