Excellent towels for the money

I have been in need of new towels for a long time. When I saw these towels at Revain for a great price I was initially excited but then I started reading conflicting reviews which got me thinking. However, I decided to go ahead and try them out anyway, and I'm glad I did. These towels feel soft, look great and wick moisture well. They've held up well to several washes and I haven't seen them fade yet except for a few towels (which is to be expected; I'll get to that later). After reading some other reviews I noticed that many people are unhappy with how much hair loss these towels have. Here's the thing: almost all towels fall off after the first few washes. I've had cheap Wal-Mart towels and premium towels for bed, bath and beyond, and they all had one thing in common: they shed like crazy after the first half-dozen washes. It only comes with territory. Shedding doesn't mean the towels are of poor quality; it is exactly what towels do (actually I would be concerned about the durability of towels that do NOT fall off first). Now to the towels already mentioned. I set aside some towels to use with my Proactiv acne reliever. Proactiv (and any other acne treatment that contains benzene peroxide) will cause your clothes and towels to fade. Because of this, I decided to buy a couple of extra towels and only use them to dry my face after applying the product, knowing that this would likely cause them to fade badly (and they did). The same thing happened with every other set of towels I had, so I don't hold that against the towels themselves; It's just the effect that benzene peroxide has on fabric. Overall I am very happy with the quality of these towels. Another great purchase from Revain.
