These are super cute water shoes and my daughter is very happy. She says they are very comfortable. Basically, it's a rubber outsole, while the rest of the shoe is made of stretchy fabric. Definitely not enough support to wear as regular shoes, but they do what we need: mudguard, camping water day and the occasional trip to the beach. I ordered these in a size 1/2 for my daughter who is a size 1 but will probably be a size 2 soon. They fit perfectly so if your child is about to move out of a higher tier be sure to go up a size.
