I tried two OEM straps. The acid/salt in my sweat tends to destroy them at the most inopportune moments. My moment was at mile 6 during the 2020 Walt Disney World Half Marathon. Thankfully, I was able to slip my Garmin into my running bag and still record my race stats. This time I chose a fabric strap and it fits me very well. Installation was easy. I've done a few runs since January and everything fits and holds together well. Hopefully this strap and my Garmin 310XT will last a few more years. I like it. FIVE STARS!
