Review on πŸŽ’ Rivacase Laptop Tablet Backpack for Travel by Keisha Black

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great bag, pretty solid, could use some improvement

This is a great little backpack that does the job. I'm a smaller build, 5ft 3" tall, and most backpacks, even the "skinny" ones that are often 7 or 8" thick, look like they're going to eat me up. I like this back because it serves its purpose without being anything flashy. However, it has a few disadvantages. The vertical zipper on the front of the bag is incredibly impractical and silly. It has a 3" or 4" tall mesh screen, but it's still very useless, impossible to find anything, and just a mess to use. The bag has no chest strap to keep the straps in place and not chafe your shoulders. Although the straps are shaped, it's not enough to protect against friction, especially during long-term wear, such as when wearing a backpack. This bag has multiple horizontal sleeves within the main zipped compartment which is great for organization but really utilizes the mesh pocket at the top of one of the zipped compartments. Small electronics and items like DS, Kindle and phones can easily get lost in the bottom of this bag and the mesh pocket that keeps these items higher in the bag and accessible makes it much more functional. Keys, like the ones above, can easily get lost in a bag. The bottom of the bag is not really softly lined. There's a bit of token padding, but you still shouldn't just toss the laptop in your bag. Those details aside, this is a great little bag that has already stood up to daily carry and three conventions. Heather Gray is a very pretty color and I've had a few compliments on the bag after covering it with patches from all sorts of fandoms. While some improvements are still needed, this is a great little bag, especially for those with smaller bezels.
