I bought this charger for my HP Stream 11 laptop (model #11-D010-WM) after giving his charger to a relative, mainly because it was cheaper would be to order this new one would be for my mother in law to mail another one. The thing definitely looks like "schematic Chinese electronics". Generic packaging, the usual markings on the charger itself, no manufacturer name, "FCC" and "CE" markings which are clearly fake, and not even trying to make me believe it was put on by anyone security has been tested. No UL, CSA, TUV. There isn't a tiny script in eleven languages that I can't even read. However, it doesn't smell bad from the start or after running, which is a common sign of crappy electronics. Unlike some other universal chargers I've used, it doesn't get hot or make an annoying high-pitched noise during use. Also the electrical connections on things, laptop, charger and socket fit easily, just like the original charger. This device has far exceeded my (admittedly low) expectations and is a worthy replacement, especially in an emergency. If it had an HP label on it I would most likely believe it was a genuine product. Sun. TL; DR? Looks shabby like all the others but looks good, doesn't get hot, doesn't make noise, charges the laptop like the original and the price is right.
