I've had this glass for about 3 months and can't complain. I was actually more drawn to this mixed glass for its clean, understated aesthetic (as opposed to the more classic Yarai-style glass with deeper grooves and larger diamond pattern) than its comparatively low price, but the quality is still a very good $13. In particular, the crystal is flawless and clean (and it's definitely crystal and not just glass), the engraving is well done (i.e. a nice, slightly matte finish with no sharp edges along the lines of the diamond pattern) and the base is fairly solid. tight/weighted but not too heavy making it very stable. Likewise, the inside of the glass is perfectly smooth and the inside of the base is nicely rounded where it meets the vertical sides, meaning it's easy to slide a bar/ice cream mixing spoon around the edges without twisting . In terms of durability, mine has held up well over the last 3 months and doesn't show much scratching (nor obviously any cracks/chips) but admittedly this is for home use only (so the average mix might be 1 - max 2 drinks per week). I suspect it's possible with heavier use or in a real bar it might show more fatigue, but it's fine for everyday use. (It also handles dishwashing with no problems.) Overall, it's hard to fault it. Comes well packaged, finish and build quality is good, durability is more than enough for the casual mix - not bad for less than $15.
