Stylish and durable AND it fits things I used to carry in my purse! Very happy with the quality of this bag!

I just received this bag and have not traveled with it yet but I am very pleased with it and think it is so close to what I was looking for and will find. I travel a lot around the world and don't have an SLR but rather a high end point and shoot more of a small point and shoot which I use for macro photography. Luckily I don't have to place multiple lenses. I have a nice camera bag that fits both cameras, but it doesn't fit my phone or other essentials like passport, cash and credit cards, so I always have both a camera bag and a small purse, which has always annoyed me. This bag fits my large Canon Powershot camera, as well as my small Panasonic Lumix (which takes amazing macro photos that my Canon can't), spare batteries and memory cards, and it also has room for my large phone, passport, money and will . even my sunglasses and some other small things like a small pill box, pen and paper etc. I think I can finally travel with a bag and always have my cameras with me, also all the small things I would normally carry in my purse . Chargers and power cords certainly fit in here, but I keep them in my room during the day and don't feel the need to pack them straight into my camera bag. Like a camera bag, it looks SMALLER than most. I chose heather gray because I wanted something that would go with everything. An attached rain cover is a good idea, but I decided to take a pair of scissors and cut the elastic strap that attaches it to the bag. No matter how hard I tried to keep it nice and flat, it still bunched up and formed a lump in the back pocket of the bag. This bag does not stretch at all so only flat items like money, passport, travel documents etc will fit, so a dent under this bag was not desirable for me. The raincoat is stored in my backpack and can easily be used when I need it. When it's raining that hard outside, I don't plan to be out very long, so a cover isn't important to me, but it's a nice feature for people who spend a lot of time shooting in inclement weather. I'm looking forward to my first trip to Guatemala with this bag in weeks. I think it will work great. We only travel with carry-on and this bag is perfect for my medium sized backpack (which I use as my personal carry-on) and leaves enough space to pack other things in the backpack.
