INITIAL CHECK: Although the hair appears fine, I washed it and the pattern is a little looser than before. That's fine, although I still didn't want the drawing to be too tight. The hair was a bit brittle before washing, I suspect it was something that kept the pattern taut after it softened. 3-DAY RENEWAL: This hair needs a lot of attention/care. You need some kind of moisturizer to keep it like you should anyways. Also, this hair when air dried is not a deep wave but more of a loose curl, it is actually a deep wave closer to the top than the bottom. I'll try straightening it out in a week or so to see if that loosens up the pattern a bit. I almost didn't fall out, only 2-3 strands.
