Ideal for the transition to solid food

My baby is 6 months old and we have started eating solid food. We have used the lead weaning method, but every time my child picks up a piece of food, he crushes it in his hand and cannot reach it. Then she gets upset. So we started with the first step of slime stretching. I give her the opportunity to eat a piece of food in the form of strips with her hand. As soon as it gets too small or pureed, I mash the food up on a spoon and give it to her. Then she puts the spoon in her mouth and chews/eats the food on it. We have tried other baby utensils but they are either too long for it to point squarely in her mouth or my child is frustrated because the shape of the spoon part doesn't feel "right" in her mouth. The One Goo rebound is flat and hollow, so no matter which "side" it comes in from, my baby is getting nourishment. She also enjoys simply chewing on a pen, which teaches her to use the back of her mouth to chew. This cookware greatly enhanced our experience and made it a lot more enjoyable for my kid.
