Almost perfect for lighting and studio

It can be difficult to keep the monitor from rotating, not the mount. I overcame it with a monitor cage and really tightened it up. A fragile monitor may appear to flex too much (feels like it could damage the monitor) when moved on the mount. If your monitor is plastic, a cage might be a good idea. Otherwise just be careful.
