Very good quality twill tape

I bought this to replace frayed edges on a set of really well made towels that I can no longer buy. I made a mistake and should have bought 3/4" instead (which I just did) as they are difficult to fold over a towel. I think I may have stretched the tape too much when sewing it on as the tape seems to have shrunk a bit in the dryer and the length of the towel flexes a bit.They looked fine before washing so I don't think they really fit fully.When I get a new batch of sizes I'll be very loose when sewing and that hope best.
