I recently upgraded and bought a 65 inch Sony Bravia Smart TV. Reviewers of this TV claimed that the sound is actually very good without the need for a soundbar. After plugging in the TV I found that the sound from the TV was clear but there was no decent bass. Then I got into the world of soundbars. I was really interested in the Sonos models, but the price was more than I could justify. I went shopping and found an almost astounding list of options based on price points from $150 to $350. In big stores with huge floor space, ultra-high ceilings and ambient noise, it's often difficult to try. I was about to pull the trigger on another $200 model when I found this one on Amazon and just ordered it. I was impressed with this D2 model even with it open. The soundbar felt solid and well built but the subwoofer felt very light and weak I hooked it up via hdmi arc and was immediately impressed by the rich sound and very good bass. Although I now have to use two remotes I just love the sound this unit makes and it compares well to much more expensive systems. I highly recommend buying just this device instead of spending more money on other systems. I'm pretty picky about the sound and this unit more than suits me.
