Lighter than pictured

I bought this because the pictures showed a very dark brown treated leather that would match my Stetson boots perfectly, but the strap, The one I received was significantly lighter than the one shown. I expected some change, but it was wild. The leather was also quite thin and didn't feel like premium leather.
