So far I have purchased seven of these units, all for vehicles or machines that use an intermittent 12 volt battery. I like what I see. One of the units turned out to be defective (compared to the others) so I need return instructions. My first unit was purchased about two years ago and contained very poor quality plastic coated wire. Soon after, the wire broke where it entered the control box and the whole box had to be scrapped. The current new products have rubber insulated wiring, which is a big improvement. Likewise, the mating couplers are of much better quality, all rubberized.
