I have below average monitors on these stands and they look great and definitely eliminate any floor resonance, but I often wonder if I should go for a cheaper option that doesn't have the same aesthetic. Then I look at my setup which is a 65 inch TV on a wooden stand and speakers in a wooden cabinet and I just love the weight it adds to the picture. So if you buy for picture. Got it. If you're buying for utility, they're probably just as good as some of the cheaper all-black options.
