The photos show the products assembled with the table left and right. There is no way to switch sides. Can only build from the right. The tube will be deformed and will not be able to tighten the "trim cover". Pieces that are COVERED in tiny static styrofoam balls when opened (not that big of a deal but other issues really frustrated me, wanted to add that)
