I don't carry much when commuting around town, but I love the ability to widen the bottom of this bag when I need longer trips. The red fabric interior offers a subtle contrast to help you locate items and the mesh pockets along the wall come in very handy. Velcro for tire pressure sensor is also a plus. The rain cover isn't bad, but I like that it is stored in a separate front pocket. I don't care about the map valve. Luckily it detaches, but there are two large fluffy Velcro strips at the top of the bag that don't look too good. I wish the pockets on the inside of the lid had held their shape better and had better top closures. When the lid is fully zipped closed, these thin pockets stand almost upside down and small items fall out. However, the bag is well made where it's needed. The zippers are large and work smoothly. The bottom is soft but looks durable. The magnets are strong enough. Thick rubber handle. Unfortunately, the carabiners on the safety leash and inner key leash are plastic. They look cheap and I don't expect them to last very long. Design wise the bag looks very dated and I don't like the big Cortech rubber logos on the sides. However, the ability to expand and contract the size of the bag is fantastic. Overall, this is a solid tank bag that is good value for money.
