Review on Altland Heavy Duty Battery Tie Down Bracket (Tie Down Only by James Pope

I bought a car for a project a while ago and one of the previous owners moved the battery to the trunk. One of my first priorities was to replace the handcrafted MDF box with a nice, secure battery box. The jegs I bought had a very flimsy mount that flexed under the pressure of a pair of hand-tight wing nuts. I didn't like the idea of taking out such a car very much and wouldn't even try to pass on such a technique; I would have been laughed at. This zipper solved the problem perfectly. No twists or bends. The battery is tight and looks good. I would definitely buy one of these again if I needed to replace a rusty or aging bracket in my other car.
