Review on Wolo 3200 Emergency Rotating Warning by Jeremiah Whiteley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great toy. A TOY. Just a toy.

So it works like a light. It's definitely not SAE certified and its flash isn't very bright either. So if you're using it in a real ambulance or snowplow etc and you have an accident you could get sued and that light is your main warning. The device would be any ambulance chasing a lawyer's dream. It uses a cheap plastic reflector that isn't even curved like it's bevel cut. Due to the shape and the fake chrome plastic sheeting already peeling off, the reflector assembly serves almost no purpose other than locking and unlocking the bulb, which I believe gives a blinking effect. For comparison, the attached video shows this brand new, never used, freshly opened red light set up against one of my amber snow plow lights, a circa 1980 "Tripp-lite" beacon that has bent steel. - Chrome reflector. Both lights use a 20W 1157 incandescent lamp. The 1980's chrome reflector works wonders, you will see in the video how the light completely fills the entire amber light reflector giving you a nice moving 'flash' out of view while the red light looks like it would turn it. disc around the lightbulb. There is not much thought. With the Tripp lite, a movement up or down does not change the intensity of the light beam, while the wolo light is practically useless in corners. Why does it matter? If you're looking for a cheap flashlight for a real warning purpose, this isn't it. It's almost useless for real warning devices. I planned on having this red light come on on a UTV used for medical emergencies at a large camp. This light is not enough even in the dark, let alone in daylight. I buy cheap LED turn signals and that's it. On the other hand, light made of wool returns to China. At best, it's a child's toy. And I'm not a child.
