This was recommended by a dermatologist. I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp and near my forehead at the hairline. I've been through countless $60 steroid foams, liquids, gels, and specialty shampoos. I also have some rosacea and far from perfect skin. on my face I bought this bar and started scrubbing the area myself with the bar of soap and I've noticed pretty decent results! The bright red area near my hairline, which is often red and irritated, fades to a slightly pink color the next day. It's a little weird washing your hair with a bar of soap, but c'mon, lather it up! You can rub the soap directly into areas that need special attention. The soap seems to last quite a long time. I use it sporadically as needed. My hair and skin tend to be dry, it didn't dry them out much but I wouldn't call it moisturizing. I gave it a try for my hair and skin issues, I think it gave me a pretty good return on investment, it was easy to use (DUH) and it wasn't an expensive prescription to fill out or hunt down.
