Review on Stay Visible on the Road with CAT EYE Rapid X3 USB Rechargeable LED Bike Safety Light by Tom Beland

I've had the original cat's eye for many years and it still works great! I just thought it was time to upgrade to a newer device with brighter LEDs, lithium-ion batteries, and convenient USB charging. I used the included Deep-V rubber mount for my aero seatpost like it was made specifically for my Cervelo. I'll say the rubber mounts make me a little nervous because of the old "zipper" that came with the original Cat Eye, but I still have faith in the connection to the bike. The highlight is the incredible improvement in brightness and flashing sequences. It's absolutely amazing how BRIGHT this thing is! Shouldn't be a problem for a driver's eyes, even to the stray eye I might add, for seeing this thing in broad daylight let alone at night. In today's world of scattered drivers, cheap insurance is worth knowing you're protected from behind.
