Review on 🧒 Tilley Endurables LTM6 Airflo Hat - Optimized Hat for Airflow by Tilley Endurables by Cre Soto

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well built.: Men's

Sturdy, well designed, comfortable. Nice hidden pocket on top with Velcro (for paper money, credit card, keys). Make sure you order a larger cap than usual, the cap is designed to rest on your head by gravity and not be pushed down. on a tight bandage around the forehead. Loose, sweat-wicking waistband makes it more comfortable in hot weather. (The height isn't as high as most hats, so it shouldn't cover your eyebrows when it touches your head.) The large mesh opening at the top of the hat keeps my head cool (I opted for the smaller vents since they also let the sun in and I wanted to reduce sunburn on my thinning hair). Instead of a chin strap, he uses two straps (the second behind his head) to keep him from blowing away. Looks like it was made for sailing, the hat floats in the still water. The Tilley hat does NOT look as good as the photos, it has wrinkles rather than the smooth edges shown in the photos. This is not an elegant hat, but a functional sun protection hat. The Henschel "Aussie Crushable Hat" bought at the same time looks better (and costs less) for dressier occasions. I think it's a little pricey compared to other hats but it should last a lifetime.
