Newly installed. Now I have 4x4 again. Of course, you will always learn the hard way that you don't have one. Good quality and would buy again if needed. Installation Tips: Remember that there are two wires coming out of the transfer case itself that need to be pulled out of the old wiring harness. and installed on this new one. Very easy. Look inside the old tag and use pliers to pull out the small red clip, save the clip, it will be reused. Use a small pointed object to press down on the locking pin in the old wiring harness to pull out the two wires you need. I believe in brown and gray. Slide these pins through the new wiring harness, no need to disassemble a wiring harness. I believe youtube videos show how to pull out the backplate, don't do that. Insert the pins into the new wire harness until it clicks, then reattach the red clip to the new wire harness. Make sure any locking pins are loose or the clip will not fit. Screw on the new motor. It should also be noted that the motor tongue was rotated to the wrong position. Before installing I wired everything up, turned on the truck and set the dash to 4x4 then 2, this installed motor is bolted up properly. Easier than turning the transfer case by hand to align.
