Bought this out of desperation; my 16-year-old cat with hyperthyroidism on medication is not doing well, she continues to lose weight despite changing the diet, vomiting at least daily improved dramatically after the first meal of Purina ONE. After that there was not even 1 attack of vomiting. I didn't gradually add new food because I knew I had to. ; As a doctor, I felt that she couldn't get any worse and that urgent treatment was needed. I also believed that no matter what I did, she would just disappear and die. So no matter how skeptical I was, I was wrong. She's back to her old self, gaining weight, has a new coat that's healthy and shiny compared to her shabby old self, and best of all, she has no hairballs! I have no idea why it worked; that's how it was and we are happy with her again.
