I rarely complain about Kid Nation's style, but the elasticated drawstring waistband on these capris looks like it's straight out of a little old lady's catalogue. Luckily, the elastic tucks into the seams of the pants so they don't pucker. The color of the fabric and the fabric itself also contribute to this effect. The color is bright olive, not saturated, more like puke green — something you never want to see in a kid, but it happens from both sides. The fabric also has that old lady polyester sheen despite being 40% polyester and 60% cotton. The style of these pants not only resembles what you might see in a nursing home, but also in a children's playgroup. 4 and below the crowd. Obviously the belt is not visible when the shirt is worn over it; it's just a weird feeling. All my complaints are based on personal preferences. The fabric is very durable, the pants are sewn well.
