We used to put cords and plugs in ziplock bags and put the bags in our trunk pocket. No longer! This pocket, while optional, cuts cords in an organized manner and is in a separate pocket where we don't have any confusion about where all the zipped pockets went and no longer have to toss empty ziplock pockets when using the components. Plenty of pockets and elastics for organization. Enough space to put other things in there, use the space to put bags.
