The blue anodizing is very nice, the case is well formed, cleanly curved and the liner is good but it's just curved shape. The sides are curved, but nothing holds them at the edges. This means if you accidentally sit on the case, the contents will crumple and crush. There is no real power in that. If he just spends his life on a table or in a bag that never gets crushed then they work fine, but I wanted to put my glasses in a coat pocket that hangs, throws on car seats, dangles. the backs of restaurant chairs etc and I don't think this case protects my glasses well enough so it's not as good as it could be. Processing = very good. Design for Strength = Very Poor I wouldn't rely on them to protect my glasses or sunglasses from damage if crushed by something, not even something very heavy, as aluminum is fairly soft and easily bent by hand. Like the idea, dislike the execution. Unfortunately. Some you win, some you lose, that's a loss for me and I'll probably kick them out soon. I don't get any compensation for my reviews, I just want to offer real experience after using the product for a while. And not just after I've opened the box.
