They are great for landscape lighting!

Although intended as replacements for bulbs on bikes or RV's I have used them in my 12v landscape lighting system. They put out about 325 lumens and use 2.5 watts - the same power as the 20 watt bulbs they replaced, so that's a significant saving. Also, they last much longer; Every weekend I changed at least one of my 33 lightbulbs - the earliest ones I installed lasted over 2 years and still work. For outdoor use, I recommend warm white (2700-3000K) - the "lighter" white tones look bluish and too bright at night for my taste.
