I bought this for my grandma who had hip surgery. I wanted something very long, warm but not hot and very light so as not to put pressure on her feet and legs. I have a similar version that I got from Macy's for Black Friday that I absolutely LOVE. I hoped it would do her as much good as my version did me. The look and stitching in this version is much better than the Macy's I have. It's still very soft, but a bit thicker and heavier. Haven't used it for a long time but I suspect it's warmer too. (May not be very practical in summer). You can always leave a little crease to let cool air in under the duvet so you don't overheat. for a day. Super pumped up. This version has been vacuum sealed in a small pouch. I'm sure it will help with the shipping cost. The only problem is that the outside pocket is no longer suitable for storage. I wish they would vacuum seal it and then put it in a larger bag so you can store it in a dust proof bag when not in use. It's true that these are super magnets for pet hair. No problem.
