I don't think I would like this on my bed at home. They are a little prickly after the first wash but may soften over time. They tend to stick and are not easily smoothed out. But they fit perfectly for my purposes. I have a small Class A motorhome with a sofa and ottomans in the back that slide down to become a bed. It hurts to put the sheets on the bed and go from bed to sofa and back again every night. The double sheet matches the sofa piece very well and I cut the double flat sheet in half and routed the elastic around the edges of each square to get sheets on two ottomans. I cut pieces of 3/4" PVC to slip between the seat and back pieces so they stay tucked in. Voila! Fitted sheets for all pieces and the conversion from sofa to bed and back works perfectly without removing the sheets Then we just throw in the comforter and pillows for the night and we're done! I tried regular sheets the first time and they just didn't fit right. Stretch jersey is perfect for custom shapes. Protects the padding even from my wild Aussies!
