Review on Logitech X52 Flight Control System for Enhanced Optimization by Brian Nelson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Logitech needs to get out of the simulator business

DO NOT BUY A LOGITECH X52 OR HATCH. It surprises me that they have absolutely no quality control on these items. The clamp has a dead zone and sticks so you have to open it to fix the problems. After that it's still not good. X52? What good can I say about him? That's OK. X52 sticks very badly. So bad it's a worthless $170 POS. I'm relatively new to the simulation world and maybe a bit uneducated in the field. However, I am sure that the controls for real pilots are not that bad. How can a company sell their products if they know they are completely defective before they leave the factory? I am completely disappointed with Logitech and their software control. You won't see a dime of my money. Update: It has been 5 days since Logitech's troubleshooting ticket was submitted. I haven't heard a word from them. Terrible customer service. KEEP AWAY FROM LOGITECH FLIGHT CONTROLLERS. YOU ARE NOT WORKING. THEY ARE STICKED AND SOME HAVE DEAD SPOTS. THEY ARE NOT USED AS FLIGHT CONTROLS. They should stick to what they're good at anyway.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Easy maintainability
