I ordered these for my almost 5 year old daughter in XS. They fit perfectly at the moment, I didn't specifically buy a size that she might "grow into" as most cold weather items she has are oversized for this reason. They fit thinner than most kids joggers, which is what we wanted. The belt is thick and durable, fits evenly - it does not fold awkwardly. She loves the cheetah print!
