It was the most popular Christmas present - he figured out how to ring it and it made a lot of noise. The noise wasn't tinny and annoying (okay, maybe it gets that far on a long car ride). The tone of the call was subtly melodious so as not to be distracting. The call is hard on the baby, but you can handle it. and I think the extra arm strength will soon help with crawling :). Hohner is a great brand for quality musical instruments for little ones. They care about making them musical, not just plastic. The colorful instruments are interesting for kids, but the sound quality really sets their instruments apart from other brands as it also helps develop musical understanding.
