All fluorescent lights are terrible. It would be unfair to rate this based on the quality of fluorescent lights in general as they are all rated 0 stars. The light is always an ugly blue, and they all contain dangerous mercury. They all break easily, possibly scattering broken glass and mercury everywhere. Of course, if you have a choice in this matter, switch to LED lamps or incandescent lamps. But this one works. It is what it is. If you're stuck at that outlet and can't change it, you need one of those stupid, horrible fluorescent lights. Hope they last a while. Edit: I think they all lasted over a year of heavy use. So okay about the horrible fluorescent lights.
