I bought this for my daughter to wear to a masquerade wedding. She is 7 and now wears a size 6/7. It fits her really well, there is a corset behind the back zip in case you need it tighter to fit properly. The skirt is very boring without a petticoat or two. I had ordered a crinoline and a tulle crinoline just in case. In the end, she needed both to avoid tripping over him. Worked great.
