This review relates to the latest generation Braun Series 9 9390cc which I received today. I shaved around 9am after not having used an electric shaver for over 7 years and never used a straight razor (the previous ones I used had 3 rotating circles for the blades). Shaving was easy and comfortable in the shower with shaving cream. I confess I haven't shaved in 2 days so I saved money for this test. The shaving time was about 10 minutes, which is what I shave with a regular razor, but I've sort of groped my way through this thing and I'm sure it'll be a lot quicker in the morning. It's now 7pm and after almost 10pm my face is still as smooth as a baby's bottom. I haven't experienced this since I shaved with a straight razor many years ago. That's incredible! I don't feel any burning or skin irritation. like my beard melted away and never came back. Normally I could shave again at night when I was going out as I'm blessed with genetics that make my facial hair grow pretty well and my crown is like a burned forest ie. Never understand my hair growth biology or lack thereof. I'm really looking forward to shaving again tomorrow and using this razor for many, many years to come. It was expensive but worth it!
