The material is flimsy but they do the job.

The material is thin but these warmers really kept my ears warm during my trip to Alaska with a fever as a teenager. I was very skeptical at first and a bit annoyed because I didn't open them until I was already in Alaska, but since I had them I wore them anyway. They did a really good job of keeping my ears warm. They weren't the best, but they did their job.
