The gold finish is different. The box is about 1.5 inches deep from the wall which seems like a lot but I think it must be for the dimming function. The First I opened the opening had two scratches on the rather yellow gold (long part) I think you get what you pay for, the price was too good to be true Cheap holes (on the sides) and screws on top of of the box.They aren't terrible but most disappointed with the two gold ones..The long part of the rod looks varnished obviously because there were scratches.Part of the box looks more like brushed bronze, wish the whole bracket was brushed bronze. I think they will come back eventually :(
