I bought a slightly cheaper laptop for my daughter to use in class and soon found that the USB-C port was only a high speed port and not a port for fancy docking stations that require Thunderbolt capabilities. She had to run two external monitors. Actually a monitor and a projector, and these are mirrored. I was panicking until I found this wonderful product. I connected two monitors to two HDMI ports and then connected the included USB-C cable. You may need to experiment and play with your laptop's display settings to get the right combination. It should be something like a mirror or duplicate of the desktop on displays 2 and 3. I did it very easily on one laptop, but the second took the trouble. Which was not a device error. Just Windows 10 and the right combination. Do not give up!
