Very easy to assemble, but there is one downside - note that the metal plate can be adjusted in three positions with the clamping mechanism. The metal plate is attached with two screws. In my case, one of the screws was very tight and I had to remove the other and hit the plate to rotate it and loosen the screw. The material used for the screws is not very good, so your screwdriver may damage it. Just be a little careful. A drop of WD-40 may help. Otherwise, the lamp and gooseneck are great. The lamp can be adjusted very brightly, it has a timer and different color temperatures. Please note that this is NOT an RGB lamp. Also note that the actual LED bulb fits into a gooseneck, but be sure to remove the screw first. Then insert the LED lamp and screw it tight.
