The compact yet durable nature of this paracord makes it perfect for lanyards and for carrying a small, tightly coiled strand in your EDC. You can get more length for a given space by wrapping around a knife handle or sheath, for example. It's more than strong enough for pitching tents, building tent shelters, medium sized animal traps/traps, tethers, etc. The only caveat is that it's very dense and slippery. This means it's not a comfortable cushion to wrap around a tool/knife handle and it requires a bit of your knotting skills.
