My daughter is a year and a half old. She has loved these bath toys so much, in and out of the bathtub. Ever since she started teething she loved to chew on these. They have been a favorite toy. But I noticed that some of the toys started to look like they had dark spots on the inside. I was concerned about mold, especially because she chews on them and takes a bath with them. I tried every household trick that I could to kill the mold, I even broke down and tried to bleach them. But I just couldn't get rid of the dark spots (which were growing larger). I decided to get rid of them and buy a new set because my daughter loves them so much but I am very concerned that the holes are too small for the toys to dry out properly and it seems impossible for me to completely sterilize them.
