I'm so thankful my old Gameboy works now! It didn't start loading right away. I had to unplug and plug it back in about 100 times before the loading light stayed on, but that's most likely because the Gameboy has been dead for at least a decade. If your Gameboy doesn't start charging right away, I recommend trying the unplug/replug method and/or buying a replacement battery (found cheaply here on Amazon). Once you have everything set up, this charger will do wonders!
