I have the wrong proportions so it's difficult for me to find the right size. Most of the weight is on my stomach, so shorts often hug my legs and hips and are tight around my waist. I'm 5'4" and 180 lbs. If you don't have a big stomach these shorts will fit you. I would order a size down. They have stretch and are very good quality. They fit me almost to the knee for me bought a size 18W.They are a bit loose but I don't like tight dresses around the waist.
