These are pretty good headphones for the price. The only limitation is that the synapse3 software must be running for THX to work. I had to reinstall the software and run the restore function - it shows up when you go to uninstall - for it to recognize these headphones, but once it did, setup was a breeze. The THX effect alone is worth half the price of these refurbished headphones. The headphones themselves sound very similar to my Sennheiser PC 350, good for gaming and the mic is nice and clear, from what I'm told don't put it to your mouth. I would recommend them to those looking for good budget headphones. Gaming headphones - mine looked brand new, just in the regular Razer box.
