I bought these candles after reading all the reviews. They are very good and I like all the remote control functions, however there are some issues. First, how many batteries do they take. Maybe I underestimated that part. Each candle requires 3 AAA batteries. I use all 9 candles - that's 27 batteries and unfortunately they don't last long. I have candles that don't flicker but are bright and have a 6 hour timer. My batteries barely lasted 2 weeks and they are not cheap batteries. Second, the remote only works when you're less than a foot from the candle. So the best thing to do is to gather all your candles together and set up all your functions and then stick them in windows. They are also good window candles. I only wish I had a battery company.
