I gave it four stars because you get what you pay for. This is a cheaper range of budget toothpaste and that's exactly what it does. It works like a "cheap" toothpaste. It doesn't leave your teeth smooth and clean like Crest 3D White. So if that's what you're looking for, I recommend you buy it. It also has a really weird aftertaste and makes your mouth feel like you just put a bunch of chemicals in it. Also, if you're looking for a good breath freshening toothpaste because you're planning to kiss someone, this isn't for you either. The only thing I think this toothpaste is good for is travel toothpaste, which you're happy to buy if you accidentally leave it at the hotel, but that's about it.
