Great Product For Securing Connections

It is very easy to configure, you get all necessary tools within its package (nginx config files). I have used this product since 2013 in my main projects at client side, also as an API Gateway with HTTP/2 support but always had positive feedback about their quality of service, flexibility and quick response time when issues arise. Nothing specific because everything I mention earlier applies equally well or better than other products available today, such like Amazon VPCs etc., if they are what really matters most! - HTTP /1 connection pooling - Easy installation via Docker image - No need for manual changes into nginx configuration files, everything included in one ready-made docker container which makes things much easier.- Documentation could be improved, though there's nothing wrong yet it can seem complicated sometimes - A powerful alternative against AWS services. Simple integration between microservices using different languages, allowing me keep control over every single part without any hassle from them. The performance of pound is great, I have used this product in many projects with different requirements but all give good result. There are no issues or problems so far as using pound. It does its job well without any bugs reported from users. We use pound because we need secure connections between our web application (backend) server and other services like database service providers etc.

Pros
  • Very flexible solution suitable even for beginners who may lack experience while installing Linux servers under cloud networks; allows managing security rules easily through code instead of manually changing system settings and creating new network profiles just by entering some command prompt parameters.etc
Cons
  • When compared versus similar solutions offered elsewhere then maybe only drawback would lie around the possibility that additional features should come along together sooner perhaps not too late :)
